A serious piece of 1970s tool watch engineering, this Certina DS-3 Super PH1000M Ref. 919 1301 41 is one of the most iconic professional dive watches of the era, powered by the sought after automatic Calibre 919-1 movement.
Built during the golden age of extreme dive watch development, the DS-3 Super PH1000M was designed as a genuine professional instrument, featuring Certina’s renowned Double Security construction and an impressive 1000 metre depth rating. Its imposing 43mm stainless steel tonneau case, heavily protected crystal architecture and highly legible dial layout embody the uncompromising design language of 1970s professional diving equipment.
Condition is exceptional overall. The dial, hands and bezel present beautifully with strong original character throughout. The case remains remarkably well preserved, showing only slight wear consistent with age and careful use. The crystal also presents extremely well, with only minor wear visible.
Powered by the Certina Cal. 919-1 automatic movement, this example was fully serviced in January 2026 and is running as it should.
An increasingly difficult model to source in this level of preservation, particularly given its military association, professional specification and unmistakable 1970s design.
