An exceptionally rare Australian RAAF issued Hamilton pilot’s watch, produced for military use during the Vietnam era. These Australian-issued examples are considerably scarcer than their US military counterparts.

This example is made particularly special by its original Department of Defence Unserviceable Equipment Label, still recording the matching serial number 246. Surviving Defence documentation like this is incredibly rare and gives the watch fantastic provenance.

The watch came from a long-term collector who purchased it through military disposal auctions in NSW in the late 1980s.

Has recently been fully serviced by my watch maker and is keeping time.

A very difficult RAAF Hamilton to find on its own, let alone accompanied by its original matching Department of Defence storage/disposal documentation.
