A serious piece of dive watch history here. This is an original first generation SHOM, made for the French government diving agency Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine. These were built as true tool watches for professional use, not commercial pieces, and you can feel that the moment you handle one.
This example is the one collectors want. Correct early execution with the EPSA case, retaining all original components including the acrylic bezel which is almost always replaced. Not a later service case example, not one of the aluminium bezel variants, and not a WatchCo build. Dial, hands and bezel all match perfectly with honest ageing throughout. The case remains strong with sharp lines and proper proportions.
Fitted with the correct and extremely rare Omega mesh bracelet made for this reference, something you almost never see still paired with the watch. Running as it should, service history unknown. A rare opportunity to get into one of the more important Omega tool watches in untouched condition.
